Our Mission
LHBSA is an organization of volunteers in service to the children of our community. Our purpose is to teach game fundamentals as well as provide a safe, fun and healthy environment for children to develop the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, fair competition, positive self-esteem, courage and respect, so that they may be well-adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.
We are dedicated to having a positive influence in the lives of our players and their families by promoting fair play, confidence, a diligent work ethic, friendship, and a lasting respect for the games of baseball and softball. Our goal is to create a positive culture in which coaches, parents, fans, officials, and athletes work together to achieve this mission. We want every player’s experience to foster lasting relationships with good friends, individual growth through personal achievement and lead them back to play year-after-year with LHBSA. We accept this responsibility with great pride.

What You Gain
Discipline
We Strive To Create An Environment In Which Players Can Reach Their Full Potential And Achieve The Self-Confidence And Positive Self-Esteem Necessary To Be Successful Both On And Off The Field.
Achievement
Our Goal Is Never Simply To “Win.” Our Goal Will Always Be To Play Hard, And Have Fun While Giving Our Best Effort Possible. If That Doesn't Result In A Win, Then We Can Still Hold Our Heads High, Feel Good About Our Effort, And Give Credit To The Other Team. Winning Isn't The Only Sign Of Achievement. If You Don’t Win, That Does Not Mean Your Team Did Not Grow And Accomplish Other Important Goals.
